Vanity Fair writer, Peter Savodnik, sees an interesting parallel between hunting for witches in the village of Salem, Massachusetts, and the 'rip them a new one' true believers of woke theology. Mr. Savodnik is a man of some heart and he laments the canceling of "...the countless, less visible who have lost jobs, lost businesses, lost reputations, lost friends. The schlubs."
The writer sees the 'true-believers' as mere children, and if not children, acting like children. If children, then who should be held accountable for their behavior. It is an uncomfortable question because the 'who' might be me.
